I’m an Italian Swiss artist currently leading a nomadic life around the world for 2 years 2 weeks 2 days performance.
I embarked this journey by walking from the caves of Matera, Italy, to the caves in Africa where Homo Sapiens survived the Ice Age.
My performance is a quest for Peace and for the Planet, transcending the threshold between life and art, transforming life itself in a work of art.
I perceive the human microcosm as a paradox of the Macrocosm, where everything is interconnected, All is One.
Growing up in one of the oldest cities in the world, led me to investigate Human evolution and his impact on our planet.
My works deal with Civil Disobedience, Ecofeminism, Anthropocene, rituals, human behavior. I’m drawn to the suspension and fractals. My “Suspended identities” echo the philosopher M. Foucault concept of “heterotopias”.
My artistic practice ventures into fears and limits, seeking voluntary simplicity. It materialized through performances, immersive installation, painting, urban incursions, video, sculpture, photography.
Through my performances, I aim to provoke introspection and ignite conversations about the interconnectedness of humanity and nature, exploring the profound relationship between art and spirituality.
My performance encompasses significant acts, including donating more 500 personal and valuable objects or spending 366 hours in silence.
I also explore critical issues by filming Buddhist monks in an advanced treatment prison, shedding light on human rights violations and documenting the lives of women isolated as witches in remote African villages.
I am the observer that becomes observed in a journey of
consciousness where I learn by unlearning.
